ABOUT KINDORA


1) What are the materials used to make Kindora Products?
Wood and cotton fabric are our favorite materials. For example, Kindora teethers are made of European Beech wood, a durable material for quality products. At Kindora, your child’s health and safety are our priority. After many months of research we, at Kindora, concluded that despite the existence of voluntary toy safety standards relating to the chemical emissions from cheap plastic and plywood toys, many toy suppliers do not adhere to these standards.

For these reasons, Kindora only sources products from Fair Trade artisan organizations. This includes our Wooden products and also our limited range of eco-friendly fabric toys. However, we do not stop there. Our teethers have been independently tested and verified to ensure they meet the current BIS Toy Safety Standards and we also view compliance certificates from every partner in our supply chain. We dye our wooden toys with non-toxic water-based colors to ensure safe play for children.
We are proud to say that all of Kindora’s products are manufactured in India. Some products are designed by highly skilled rural artisans, while others are made in factories which only use ethically fair-trade manufacturing practices.

2) Are Kindora products safe for children?
At Kindora, safety is one of our top priorities and our products have undergone strict testing to ensure they are safe for your children and adhere to all regulations set by Global Toy Safety Standards. When a manufacturer complies with these regulations, you are assured that a product is safe for your child.

Disclaimer: Kindly take note of the recommended ages for our products and ensure your child is supervised at all times with any of our products that may contain small parts.

1) Where are you located?
We are proudly an Indian-owned and operated business located in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Order and Purchase

1) How do I know that my order and payment is successful?
You will receive a confirmation email after you have placed an order and your payment is successful. Check your spam mail in case you fail to receive the email in your inbox. Do contact us if you cease to receive the confirmation email so we can help you further.

2) Do our prices include GST?
Yes, GST is included in all the prices in our online store.

3) What are the modes of payment?
We accept all debit cards and credit cards; our payment partner is Razorpay.

4) Do you provide Cash on Delivery (COD) option?
Yes, we do provide the COD option at an additional fee of Rs 60/- per order. Kindly note that the additional fee doesn’t go to Kindora, but is required as the courier service charge.

Shipping and Delivery

1) Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free shipping on orders above Rs. 1999. For order value of less than Rs. 1999, shipping charges will apply.

2) How do I know if my order has been sent?
Our system will automatically send you an email containing the relevant tracking code for your order on dispatch so that you can monitor the status of your parcel delivery at your convenience.

3) When will I get my order?
Most items on the website are made and ready to be sent. At times we do get a bit behind and it may take a couple of days to get your order ready.
The majority of parcels will be packaged within 3 to 5 business days and sent via courier.

Orders placed on the weekend will be processed on Monday. All orders are sent from Hyderabad and normal delivery times apply. Deliveries are made by courier service Monday through Friday only. The approximate delivery time to metro areas is 4-6 working days.

For any urgent request, please contact Kindora before purchasing for us to make the necessary arrangements. Do note that there will be an additional cost for express delivery.

Exception:
During busy periods such as holidays or unforeseen circumstances, there may be a delay in processing your order. For items not in stock, it could take 2-6 weeks for the item to be dispatched.
In all of these cases, we will keep you informed via email or SMS.

COVID IMPACT
We are shipping pan-India and aim to get your orders delivered within 5-7 working days. However, services may be affected in some parts of the country, resulting in a delay. Please bear with us during such unforeseen situations.

4) Where do you ship to?
We currently ship PAN India, but if you are overseas and would like to place an order, please email us at hellokindora@gmail.com and we can organize this.

Cancellations

1) Can I cancel my order?

Short answer: We’ll try. Long answer: As long as your order hasn’t been forwarded to our warehouse for fulfilment or before it’s shipped, we should be able to cancel it. Please contact us to see if your order is eligible for cancellation.

Returns and exchanges


1) What are your refund policies?

Please be assured that all our products are checked thoroughly before our delivery partner (Delhivery) picks up the orders. As some of our products are handcrafted, slight variations in our wooden products are natural and every piece is unique. Returns and exchanges are not allowed.

We only accept returns for manufacturing defects. In the unfortunate event that your product is defective, we will meet our obligations and offer you a refund or an exchange. Please contact us at: hellokindora@gmail.com within 72hrs upon receiving our products. Contact us with the proof of purchase and relevant pictures. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Do ensure that the defective product received must be unused and in its original packaging.

2) I received the wrong product! What should I do?
Contact us within 72hrs upon receiving our product and we will help you with the exchange. We will arrange for a courier service to pick it up. Please note that reverse pick-up is available at selected pin codes. A pick-up will be attempted twice. If the courier service is unable to pick-up after two attempts, you are responsible to ship it back to us. Do ensure that the wrong item received is still new and in original packaging. We reserve the right to reject any product that does not meet our return policy requirements.

3) When will I receive my replacement item/credit/refund?
In case of a return, the refund will be processed only after the receipt and validation of the returned original product.
You can opt to get store credit for the same value of the returned product. This can be redeemed in full value on the website.
Your funds can also be refunded to the source. The source is defined as whichever payment method you chose while completing the transaction at Kindora. Refund will reflect in the "source account" between 7 to 14 days from the date of approval of the return request.

GENERAL STORE POLICIES

1) Do you have hidden charges?
Nope! The shopping cart will tell you exactly how much your item costs. Calculate your discount (if you have one) and add your shipping charges. Your order will then be re-confirmed via our website before the payment is processed.

2) Do we include a tax invoice or receipt with your orders?
A tax invoice and receipt is sent by email to the email address of the purchaser as the confirmation email. Kindora is doing its best to offset the carbon footprint of its operation. As a result, Receipt and Tax invoices are not included with the parcel. This means that the climate impact of your parcel delivery is minimized. This also means that if you are purchasing an item as a gift, the receiver will not see your invoice or receipt.

3) Can I please add something to my order?
Yes, if we have an item in stock that you would like to add to your order, please just email us at hellokindora@gmail.com and we will happily adjust your order if possible and send out a payment link for the balance to be paid.

4) I would like to send it as a gift, is this possible?
Kindora can absolutely send a gift on your behalf. Please let us know of your intentions by adding a note at checkout. Kindly ensure that the receiver knows about it to avoid parcel rejection. A re-delivery cost will be incurred if a parcel has to be resent. Be aware that the expected delivery time given by each courier is for reference only. Delivery may take longer than expected for any number of reasons.
