How Does Kindora Manage to Play Sustainably?

Kindora is built from an environmentally conscious foundation making it the epitome of sustainability and timelessness. Inclusive of ethically made toys, Kindora keeps it organic and bio-degradable, nurturing both your children and the environment.

Being founded on the core belief that one’s family deserves a product that is of the very best quality at the most affordable price point, creativity is combined with natural products and Kindora has been able to design sustainable sources of entertainment for the precious little ones of your world.

It’s necessary to look after the environment and give back to it in different ways. By utilising eco-friendly products, each one of you are contributing to the safety and preservation of the resources provided to us.

It is important that our everyday decisions positively affect the planet and this is where eco-friendly products come in. They are both good for your families and for the planet, and eco-friendly products provide consumers with the option to choose responsibility over frivolity. Eco-friendly products are both good for the environment and safer for consumers! They are the smart choice for families everywhere.

Let’s see the different ways in which Kindora brings sustainability into your life!

Minimising the use of plastic.

Kindora ensures eco-friendly packaging for products, i.e. cotton cloth bags. The cloth bags are bio-degradable, reusable, do not pollute the environment and decrease the production of single-use materials.

Delicate products are wrapped in eco-cushion paper instead of plastic bubble wraps.

Eco-cushion paper, or paper-based packaging in general are sustainable, recyclable, renewable and conveniently better for the environment. It’s the greatest alternative for plastic bubble wraps as it provides an equally good protection and is lightweight, and takes up less storage space. Plastic bubble wrap may be the most well-known package material but it lacks in sustainability which makes way for the environmentally conscious to adopt the usage of eco-cushion paper. Despite eco-cushion paper being a more expensive alternative, Kindora believes in long-term sustainability over momentary cost.

The boxes carrying the products are made of recycled cardboard which can be reusable in a variety of ways.

Cardboard in general is one of the materials with least environmental impact. Recyclable cardboard, as used in Kindora, are 100% bio-degradable and reusable, and minimise waste generation without losing durability or resistance.

In Kindora, the tape used to seal the boxes are water activated tapes.

Water activated tapes are stronger and more sustainable, making it better for the environment. Unlike water activated tapes, plastic tapes are pressure-sensitive and easy to puncture, putting the safety of your package at risk. Water-activated tape penetrates the surface of the carton or parcel, which bonds the tape into the surface. This creates a very tight seal, ensuring that your box will not come open while in transit. It’s completely bio-degradable and safe, making it a better alternative to plastic tapes.

The paper fillers used for packaging are organically made through a shredder to shred generated paper waste and recycle it.

Kindora encourages saving money and being eco-friendly by recycling waste paper and reusing it as a safe, non-combustible packaging filler. Shredded paper is easy to clean up and is biodegradable, so it wouldn’t cause any harm to the environment.

The wood used to make Kindora’s admirable products are in fact reclaimed wood which encourages reusing and sustainability.

Kindora understands that over-forestation leads to there being fewer trees in existence. It’s therefore important to preserve what little is left. When you choose products made from reclaimed wood, you are helping the environment because the process involves recycling old wood, which in turn prevents the need for further trees to be cut down.

The bio-degradable material of cloth dolls at Kindora.

The handmade dolls are made out of scrap clothes such as sarees and dupattas which were to be discarded by local tailors and designers. This reduces wastage and also encourages reusability. The filling too consists of kapok silk which is organic and bio-degradable.

.

Overall, these products are organic, safe, and will often save you money and allow you to avoid wastefulness, but they are more than just good for you. In today’s world, we need to aid the planet. While it can be difficult to make a huge difference as one person, conserving resources and using eco-friendly products is a great way for each person to participate in the preservation of our planet and ecosystem.

Kindora strongly believes in healthy co-existence of humans and nature. We aim to encourage environmental-friendly options and hope to create a ripple effect with our ideology!
